Change of Degree Objective (CODO)

To complete a CODO to Economics (BS or BA) you should talk to an advisor. For the BS degree, you can visit the Management advising office in Krannert (third floor) and make an appointment. For the BA degree, you can visit the CLA advising office in Bearing (first floor). Note that a student who has been admitted to the Pre-Economics Division as a CODO student must meet the stated academic requirements for Upper Division and follow the procedure for processing.

12 2.50 - 2.74 GPA EAI courses 2.5 ALL Economics Admission Index (EAI) courses* Must have "C -" or higher in all Econ courses completed and in courses that are EAI courses*. May not be on Probation

* See the upper division admission page for the courses that comprise the EAI for the BA degree and the EAI for the BS degree. There is a limit of one retake per EAI course (for a grade) and three retakes across all EAI courses in meeting the minimum EAI GPA requirement.

** Students who meet these minimum requirements will be reviewed by an Economics faculty committee to determine whether space is available and sufficient cause exists to be admitted to upper division Economics.
