After 19 years with Sears Holdings Don MacKay retired, last holding the positions of Director of Business Integration and Director of Pricing for the SHC Homes Services group. Don also coordinated the SHC recruiting efforts at Purdue. Don and his wife Anne also served on the Purdue Parents Council for a number of years.

Prior to joining SHC Don held a number of positions with Circuit City, Montgomery Ward and Xerox.

Don has a BSIM degree from Krannert with a minor in Industrial Engineering and a MBA from De Paul University with a concentration is Systems Analysis
