The Leadership Communication Studio (LCS) works in conjunction with the Krannert Undergraduate Scholarship Office. The LCS and undergraduate scholarship office both encourage students to step out of their comfort zone and participate in signature learning opportunities outside of the classroom.

At Purdue, fulltime students on the West Lafayette campus have opportunities to apply for scholarships between $500 and $3000 to help fund study abroad experiences. Study abroad is a highly recommended signature learning opportunity.

Krannert junior, Austin Coon, spent the spring semester of his sophomore year studying abroad in Australia. During the semester, he explored around Australia and New Zealand and used the experience to help expand his leadership and communication skills.

View Austin's adventure:

84 video clips and 22 photos of some of my most memorable experiences abroad, condensed into a 3.5 minute video. If you're considering studying abroad in Australia, or anywhere else in the world, do it. There's too much in the world to stay in the same place for 4 years.”  - Austin Coon
