Digital Profiles

Digital Profiles Poster

A digital profile is a website that you create which offers employers, friends and colleagues a personal yet professional glimpse into your life.  Using free website-building tools such as, students can describe themselves with not only words on a resume, but also with pictures and videos demonstrating action.

Beginning with a welcoming home page, students can branch to other pages describing experience, a project they put their heart into, a study abroad that changed their lives, case competitions where they dove into finance, strategy, or even presentation skills, and many more examples.

The LCS team took inspiration for the digital portfolio project from Dr. McClain Watson at the University of Dallas's Jindal School of Business.  The team shares his vision where students will use this tool to create a robust and professional online portfolio to fuel career opportunities.
