The Purdue Center for Economic Education website on Economics and Art:

This unique website is a great tool to help teachers and the public understand economics through paintings, drawings  and engravings. This growing set of slide shows features individual artists including the Brueghels, Hokusai, Diego Rivera, and Norman Rockwell, to name a few.  The site also features slide shows on particular economic concepts.  View such topics as Capital Resources & Technology, Leisure & Recreation, Economic Functions of Government & Public Choice, and Urbanization, with discussion questions for students at the end of each show.
