Spring 2013 Career Fair Company Info

Company Info on CCO Express

Purdue Students and Alumni can now see the Company Info on CCO Express and visitors can use the link at the bottom of this page. On CCO Express, you can see the companies, use advanced search fields to narrow the list and RSVP (or Express Interest) to specific companies or company presentations. Why is this important? Recruiters will be able to view your RSVP/resume and they may email you prior to the fair. We will be adding new companies and they will be updating their profiles, until the day of the fair, so check back regularly. Employers will also have access to Resume Books beginning January 9th. They can sort through resumes, based on their criteria, and they may email you. Make sure you have an updated resume in CCO Express.

What if I don't have a CCO Express account? Go to CCO for details. Krannert students can also refer to CCO Express Info packet for more detailed account info and tips.

Since this is a new feature in CCO Express we wanted to give you an overview of the functionality.

• Login (www.cco.purdue.edu/Student) and click the Krannert link listed under "Attend Events". Other fairs are now posting their info on CCO so review their company lists too.

• View the company list and basic info about their fair recruiting and activities

• Use the “Advanced Search” tab to narrow the list based on their recruiting needs
  • Try different search combinations to narrow the list
  • Then click “Submit your Resume and RSVP” and RSVP to companies of interest

• Click company names to see more info about them
  • Overview, Company Culture & Social Media
    • Amount of info and number of links vary by employers
    • LinkedIn connections will appear if you activated your LinkedIn settings in CCO
  • Available Positions & Job Leads - most companies will likely wait until January to post positions
    • Apply on CCO and on the company website
  • Click “add to Favorites” if you want to follow them on CCO Express

• Positions Recruited tab
  • Quickly see a list of positions that were submitted with company registrations
  • You should also search CCO Express and the company website for job postings because companies may have submitted positions after they registered.

• Company Presentations
  • These will appear on CCO Express January 11th
    • Click the “Career Fair, Info Sessions” tab on the top banner
    • Type SMEF in the keyword search
    • RSVP to sessions you plan to attend
  • Company Presentation Schedule (Jan 19th)
