Epic stories, magnificent vistas. Hemingway called it the last good country on Earth. Spain is a place of possibility.
Spain has thrived since Hemingway's time. Gone are the bullfights and brawls. Left are the culture and the romance. Madrid is like no other place.
Art galleries dominate sections of the city. Arenas once home to the matadors are now theaters and galleries. The self-proclaimed oldest restaurant on earth is here. Find the right bar and you can literally sit at Hemingway's table.
Your time in Madrid is not like your time in other places. Watch the video below. Spain is special. The natural reaction is to stroll, to sit and absorb. But time is short and no matter how methodical you may be in your pursuit of leisure, you will leave wanting more time.
You will also leave with a great deal of knowledge. A rich combination of academic and industry leaders will lead you through a curriculum of international business, but with a decidedly Spanish perspective.
This course explores the ways cultural similarities have allowed Spain to be the bridge between the European (EU) and the countries of South America in developing business relationships. Background on the Spanish economy in transition at the end of the 20th century and its relationship within the EU and in the Global market will be addressed.
Spanish business strategy will be discussed, as well as Spanish cultural diversity. A company visit and case studies of companies that have developed successful business relationships are also included
Yes, the classes and educational opportunity in Madrid is special. Truly a privilege. But what do you expect from "The Capital of the World"?
