Alumni Engagement

Alumni Engagement Banner

The Krannert School of Management alumni network is a global community boasting 400,000+ living alumni. Krannert’s alumni network is an integral part of student development; alumni contributions strengthen student professional competencies, provide opportunities for alumni to give back, and enrich the relationship between the school, students and the alumni network.  Alumni engagement is a great way to connect with Krannert and make an impact on students.

Krannert students are regularly engaged with alumni through classroom visits, networking activities, leadership forums, mentoring opportunities, and virtual events.  The Krannert Professional Development Center provides various ways for Krannert alumni to share accomplishments and help shape the career trajectory of students.  For more information on additional ways to engage with current students, please contact Wendy Dukes, Director of Corporate Stewardship & Alumni Engagement at dukesw@purdue.edu.

Get Involved

Alumni Sharing Knowledge (ASK): ASK is a concierge program that helps students connect with Krannert alumni for advice and expertise in a specific functional area.  When contacted, alumni volunteers answer career questions and provide functional insight to students.

Alumni in Resident (AIR): AIR is an opportunity for alumni to return to campus and share their insight and experiences with students through one-on-one advising, presentations, resume reviews, mock interviews, career conversations, and/or office hours.

Alumni Mentor Program for Professional Development (AMPPD): AMPPD is an opportunity for 2nd year MBA students to make a valuable connection with a Krannert alum.  The goal of this mentoring relationship is to guide the student in their transition to a new career.

Krannert Emissary Program (EP): To better support Krannert’s international student population in professional development, emissaries have been appointed in select regions to assist with recruitment, placement, and the alumni network globally.

City Trek Program: Our Krannert City Treks are a unique opportunity for alumni to showcase their company while meeting current students.  We welcome the opportunity to partner with you and your company to host Krannert students.

Alumni Stories: Would you like to share your career story with future and current Krannert Students? The Krannert Professional Development Center would like to feature your story on our website. These “Day in the Life” stories will be featured to assist our Undergraduate and Master’s students in learning more about potential career paths and companies and will demonstrate the vast network of alumni that Krannert has. Just answer a few quick questions and count yourself as a featured alumni storyteller. https://purdue.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_51JFtUA7JhpBehn
