Because the MS(F) program begins on July 10, 2017 (with classes starting July 11, 2017), applications will not be considered for admission from MS(F) applicants outside the United States who graduate after July 2017. International students must be able to prove documentation (diploma or degree certificate indicating a degree conferred and date received) for a 4-year degree by July 2017 to apply for and be eligible to enroll in the MS(F) summer semester. We ask students that are unable to provide such documentation to consider applying next year.
While full-time post-baccalaureate work experience is not required for admission to Purdue’s MS(F) program, many MS(F) students do enter the program with one or more years of relevant experience. The median work experience for recent MS(F) classes is two years, but about half of our program’s students have less than one year of full-time experience. However, those coming straight from an undergraduate program often have significant co-opportunity or internship experiences. Applicants to the MS(F) program may submit the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) in lieu of the GMAT.
The MS(F) program has a minimum requirement of 77 for the internet-based TOEFL Exam (minimum score of Writing 18, Speaking 18, Listening 14, Reading 19).
