International Student Orientation
2015 International Student Orientation - 2015 Date TBD
Krannert's International Student Orientation (ISO) is the best way for Krannert Graduate international students to become familiar with Purdue, Krannert, and West Lafayette, Indiana. ISO is free for all participants.
ISO is required for all international students in the MBA, MSIA and MSHRM programs. To ensure a smooth transition to Krannert, it's important for students to complete all necessary Next Steps as part of accepting your offer and before orientation.
During the week of ISO, you will participate in valuable sessions that will best prepare you for Krannert Launch. Examples of these sessions include tours of campus, introduction to U.S. culture and business etiquette, practice working in the U.S., library systems, and information from various campus resources such as the International Students and Scholars (ISS) Office and the Purdue University Student Health (PUSH) system.
After the week of ISO orientation, you will be required to attend your academic program orientation for MBA, MSHRM and MSIA.
If you have any questions about ISO, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
For more information about the dress code and examples, please refer to the FAQ section. All sessions are madatory except for the optional evening actitivies.
Visa Application and Processing
Admitted International Master’s Students should not apply for a visa or make travel plans until receiving notification of admissions via email from the Purdue Graduate School. Please initiate this process by following the instructions in the “U.S. Immigration Document” section of the Graduate School admissions email. This section of the Graduate School email also contains a link to the International Graduate Student Notification of Intent (NOI) Form. The ISS office advises international students on all matters relating to U.S. citizenship and immigration. You may contact the ISS office by email at email@example.com, by phone at 765-494-5770, or at their website: http://www.iss.purdue.edu/.
