We hope that you are able to learn more about the area, including finding helpful housing information in addition to resources relating to Purdue and the West Lafayette/Lafayette Area. Purdue is on Eastern Daylight Time, same time as New York City.
On and Off-Campus Housing
Purdue offers family and married housing in Purdue Village. This older complex offers apartment-style housing in one and two-bedroom units. Purdue Village is located approximately one mile from Rawls Hall and features a community center, an on-site preschool, garden plots, and language classes.
If you are more interested in looking for off-campus housing, you will find a wealth of options using one of the tools provided in the right margin. Please note that off-campus simply means the housing is not affiliated with Purdue University, though the location may still be within close proximity to campus.
Sports, Fitness and Health
Cheer for the Purdue Boilermakers as they compete in Big 10 Athletics or get involved/workout with recreational sports. If you play golf, we have your game with two world-class golf courses at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex. Purdue University Student Health (PUSH) is Purdue’s clinic and center for health needs.
Purdue University Campus and Lafayette Area Resources
Please also utilize the information regarding the University and Greater Lafayette Region to familiarize yourself not only with the technical aspects of moving to campus (such as how to get here and parking info), but with the excitement surrounding both the Krannert School of Management and Purdue University! Join us on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter to receive the most up-to-date news.
There are many student organizations within the Krannert School of Management and Purdue University. Just as we promote social and professional networking during the week, there are also numerous activities in which students can be involved. For example, our Krannert Graduate Student Association (KGSA) sponsors tailgates for home football games, allowing students to have an informal get together. Joining-up with fellow Krannert students to support the Boilermakers is not only remarkably fun, but also a chance to build long-lasting personal and professional bonds.
Beyond Athletics, Purdue provides many exciting opportunities to learn, be entertained, and relax. Outdoor festivals are held at Slayter Center, Purdue Theatre stages multiple student productions throughout the year, and Purdue Convocations brings a wide selection of well-known live entertainment to campus. Convocations include pop stars, comedians, and hit Broadway productions, to name a few. Purdue welcomes diversity which is celebrated in conjunction with the Black Cultural Center, Latino Cultural Center, and Native American Educational Cultural Center.
