Food Security: Feeding the World in 2050, a fireside chat by Purdue President Mitch Daniels with introductions by Krannert alumnae Carolyn Woo, Distinguished President's Fellow for Global Development, will feature a discussion on- topics ranging from better nutrition, improved postharvest care of food, better distribution and governments that work effectively.
-The event will be held in celebration of World Food Day on Monday, Oct. 16 from 2:30 to 3:30 pm in Fowler Hall, Stewart Center. Panelists include Chris Policinski, President and CEO of Land O'Lakes Inc., and Sean Callahan President- and CEO of Catholic Relief Services.
