What does your job entail?
"Helping clients with financial and investment strategies, retirement solutions, business services, wealth transfer and preservation, and private money management."

Why should a prospective student choose the Krannert School?
"The Krannert experience helped me transform from being voted the "Shyest Male Senior" of my graduating high school class to being selected commencement speaker as a Krannert senior. The support I received helped me academically, in my career through internships, and financially via scholarships."

What was the thing you enjoyed most about your time at Purdue?
"The Purdue family is down-to-earth and welcoming - it has a small-town atmosphere within a large university."

What extracurriculars were you involved in, and how did they help prepare you for your career?
"I was president of the School of Management Employers Forum, which is a student-run organization that builds relationships with recruiters and organizes the job fairs. The ability to motivate others, network and build long-term relationships are skills I use today."

What role did the diversity of the student body play in your Krannert experience?
"I enjoyed the diverse student body and meeting students with backgrounds throughout the world. The viewpoints helped me understand what working in a globalized economy means."

Who is the person, in the business world or otherwise, that you most admire, and why?
"A couple of Krannert alumni and mentors come to mind. Sara Stein Koch, director of undergraduate programs, helped me set goals and build soft skills. Bart Burrell is a Krannert alum who taught me life lessons, such as how your reputation precedes yourself and to hold high standards."
