"My job includes performing due diligence and valuation of private equity assets, meeting institutional investors and other private equity managers, and doing industry research for our portfolio."
Why should a prospective student choose the Krannert School?
"Krannert provides an opportunity to be part of a small intimate business school within the setting of a large research university. The classes are analytically rigorous and prepare students to leave ready to make an impact in the workplace."
What was the thing you enjoyed most about your time at Purdue?
"My favorite thing about Purdue was the people. I feel like I was able to make a lot of great long-term relationships through all of my extracurricular activities."
What extracurriculars were you involved in, and how did they help prepare you for your career?
"I was active in many groups while at Purdue and I generally learned time management and how to be organized and efficient through the juggling of all of the activities. A specific experience that was very relevant to my career was my involvement with running the Student Managed Investment Fund (SMIF), where we were able to invest real money in the stock market based on our academic research."
What was your favorite class at Krannert, and why?
"I think my favorite class would be options/futures/derivatives, as it was extremely rigorous academically and was fun at the same time as we worked in teams managing a virtual hedge fund."
Who is the person, in the business world or otherwise, that you most admire, and why?
"I most admire my mom, she is a cancer survivor and a true renaissance woman. She has been my inspiration and motivation throughout school and my career."
