The goal of our Executive Admissions Office is to help guide you smoothly through the application process
The International Master’s in Management (IMM) application for the Krannert School of Management must be completed using Krannert’s online application.
As a reminder, applications will not be considered until all required materials have been received. This includes submission of the non-refundable application fee, payable online by credit card. All documents must be received by the deadline to which you are applying (see box to the right).
A description of the required application materials is as follows:
Completed Online Krannert Application
This is the section of your application that contains applicant information, the degree you are seeking, educational background, work experience, resume, and essays. All sections must be completed in order for the application to be submitted. You will be prompted to pay the application fee before you submit the application online. We prefer that recommenders be employers who are able to render an opinion on the basis of close, current, and sustained observation. At least one of your letters should be from the candidate’s direct supervisor. Recommendations from friends, family members, acquaintances, and other sources unable to evaluate professional or academic qualifications for MBA study are not acceptable. No more than two recommendations are needed. We require your recommenders to submit the recommendations online (instructions to do so are provided within the online application).
Two official transcripts from each higher institution attended as a registered student, regardless of the number of courses taken. Please use the Academic Request Form (available for download within the AY online application, make copies as needed) to request an official, attested transcript from each of the colleges and universities you have attended.
Transcripts in a signed, sealed envelope from the issuing institution should be sent to Jo Ann Whitford, Executive MBA Programs, Krannert Center, Suite 206, 425 W. State Street, W. Lafayette, IN 47907-2056.
While we prefer hard copy transcripts, if you opt to have electronic transcripts sent, they must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org .
Additional Information for International Students

Original language transcripts must be supplied as well as certified English translations of those transcripts;
Photocopies of transcripts are not acceptable unless certified by the issuing institution that they are true copies of the original documents;

Language Assessment Tests (International Applicants)
Applicants whose native language is not English are required to submit the Pearson Test of English (PTE), Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) scores for Purdue University Graduate School admission.
* International applicants who are U.S.. citizens, or who hold a green card, are exempt from the PTE, TOEFL, and IELTS.
The Graduate School also accepts the Pearson Test of English (PTE). An overall score of 58 is required for admission. For more information, visit http://www.pearsonpte.com.
The total TOEFL score required by the Purdue Graduate School is 77. In addition, minimum scores must be met in each area tested:
Writing = 18
Speaking = 18
Listening = 14
TOEFL scores must be no older than two years at the time the application credentials are reviewed by our Graduate School. Scores must be documented by an official report from Educational Testing Service (ETS) and sent to Purdue University, institution code #1631. Please select: “PURDUE UNIV, WL/EXECUTIVE MBA” on the test form. For further information, visit www.toefl.org.
If you elect to take the IELTS rather than the TOEFL, the score achieved must equal 6.5; there is no minimum test area scores required.
Official Test Scores
GMAT for those who feel their application needs to be enhanced. The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) administers the GMAT test. An official institutional copy of your GMAT score report must be sent from the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) to the following school codes: Executive MBA - 1RZ-R6-45
The GMAT is not a blanket requirement for admission. Substantial work experience and/or prior graduate education may allow the GMAT to be waived. Nonetheless, the test is strongly recommended for program applicants, and a good score on the test will enhance any applicant’s chances for admission. The test may be required of applicants whose other credentials need strengthening. These decisions will be made by the program’s admissions office on a case-by-case basis. In addition, a personal interview may be required of certain applicants, again where there are issues related to the strength of other credentials.
To contact the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) to register for the GMAT or to obtain additional information, visit the GMAT website or contact them at:
