Krannert's Direct Admit Program offers accelerated classes, professional workshops and unique social events to top incoming freshmen. Direct Admit students have direct admission to Upper Division classes upon entering Purdue, without any requirement of review after Lower Division classes have been completed.
Students have the option of being part of a Direct Admit Learning Community where they will interact with peers in the program, motivating and challenging each other to produce their best work. Direct Admit students may be eligible to join Purdue's Honors College and participate in honors courses, interdisciplinary seminars and discipline-specific research. Entrance to the Honors College is by invitation for incoming freshmen.
Incoming domestic students for fall semester 2016 may qualify for the Direct Admit Program with a score of at least 1250 on the SAT (CR + MA), or 28 on the ACT, and an unweighted core GPA of 3.50 or higher.
Incoming international students for fall semester 2016 may qualify for the Direct Admit program with an unweighted core GPA of 3.50 or higher, a score of at least 1250 on the SAT (CR + MA), a minimum total TOEFL score of 88, and minimum speaking TOEFL score of 23.
