Erik is an experienced professional with 20 years in student services at Purdue. He markets career services, events and opportunities to students, alumni and employers; establishes and cultivates relationships with employers; coordinates the School of Management
fall and spring career fairs; manages on-campus job postings and recruitment activities and tracks and analyzes all student and employer data. Erik is dedicated to building relationships, effective communication and achieving success through teamwork.
Maureen Huffer Landis
Associate Director, Undergraduate & Alumni Careers (Career Development)
Maureen is an innovative professional with over 20 years' experience in higher education focusing on career counseling and development. Possessing a comprehensive background, she has worked with undergraduates and alumni of all majors, management-oriented
residential master's programs (MBA, MSIA, MSHRM, MSF), and executive programs (EMBA and IMM). A large portion of Maureen's work for Krannert undergraduates revolves around teaching Management 301: Management Career Lectures which guides approximately 300 students
each semester in their career development and professional search processes. She re-designed the course through the Purdue IMPACT program moving the course to a more interactive mixed format of presentations, experiential activities and student-focused engagement.
Whether in person, on the phone or via Skype, Maureen assists with and supports students in career strategy review, career resource education, resume and correspondence critiques, interview skill practice, and salary negotiation feedback. In addition, Maureen
works with international students as they complete the Curricular Practical Training process (CPT).
Assistant Director, Undergraduate & Alumni Career Services
Amber joins the Krannert Professional Development Center with a background in Psychology and Human Resources. She attended Purdue University as an undergrad, receiving a BA in Psychology. She then started working as a Human Resources Generalist for a division
of United Technologies Corporation. In this role, her primary focus was on recruiting and staffing, including involvement with the intern/co-op programs. With her background in HR, Amber hopes to bring an employer's perspective to her role within the KPDC.
As Assistant Director, Amber supports both Corporate and Student Career Development. She also meets with students individually to support their professional development. She enjoys building relationships with the students as well as with employers as they
seek to recruit Krannert undergraduate students and graduates.
