New Student Registration
All new, domestic, first-year and transfer students who will enroll in classes for the first time at Purdue in the FALL are required to attend the Summer Transition, Advising, and Registration (STAR). Those students who enroll during spring or summer should be in contact with the Krannert advising office to arrange their schedule and receive their pin for registration.
International students and those who cannot attend STAR, should go through the Virtual Summer Transition, Advising and Registration (VSTAR) course from Purdue BlackBoard. The course will help students learn about campus resources, how to use and navigate myPurdue, explain the ALEKS Math Assessment and provide the students with the information necessary to register for fall classes.
Step 1: May 8th 2013 you will receive an email with instructions on how to access and complete VSTAR.
Step 2: You will log on to Blackboard and complete the VSTAR course. The course must be finished and communication with your advisor must be completed by June 17, 2013.
Step 3: You will register for classes. Once your registration access period (Time Ticket) begins, sometime between June 17th and July 11th, 2013, you will access the course registration system through the myPurdue portal (https://mypurdue.purdue.edu ) and select the courses for your first semester at Purdue.
If you do not have an assigned advisor on MyPurdue, please contact the Director of Undergraduate Programs, Beth Burnett (bburnett@purdue.edu).
