City University of Hong Kong – Exchange Location: Honk Kong Duration: Semester/Summer Program: The City University of Hong Kong (CityU) was established in 1984 as the City Polytechnic of Hong Kong. It was granted university status in 1994, and has since grown and developed at a remarkable pace. It is still an important international trading post, but today Hong Kong is also a powerful manufacturing base and the world's third-largest financial center after New York and London. Hong Kong is the 'Wall Street of Asia,' with banking, international insurance, advertising, and publishing among its biggest industries, and it is one of the world's leading manufacturer and exporter of toys, garments, watches and electronics.
