Asian Emerging Markets and Economies (International Elective) - MGMT 390
This one-credit course will provide an examination of the industrial infrastructure of Taiwan and its relation to business, trade, and manufacturing globalization. The curriculum consists of half-day lectures on Asian economic developments, financial markets in Taiwan, business environments in Taiwan and China, information technology, language, and culture. There are also visits to local businesses and industries. Students will be paired up with local Taiwanese students who will help facilitate a unique off the beaten path experience!
Excursions
Included are visits to local business and cultural destinations such as National Palace Museum, Taipei 101, Hsinchu Science Park, night markets, and a company visit.
