Shivayogi Biradar was born in Delhi, and since early age, he was obsessed with machines and mathematics. This led him to earn his mechanical engineering degree. His final year project on engine simulations with chicken fat as biodiesel was judged the best project by the State Government Transport Authority.
After his graduation, he worked for Dealership Network, a leading concrete handling equipment firm in India. He then went on to become inventory analyst for one of India’s leading supplier of oil well tools and cementing products,. It was here that he explored the power of statistics and data in optimizing operations for a firm and decided to pursue his master’s degree in business analytics and information management at Purdue University. Shivayogi aims to harness the potential of analytics to help optimize performance for a fortune 500 company.
Apart from his professional life, Shivayogi is a board member of his college dramatics club ‘Goonj’ which he founded. He is also an active field volunteer for NGO, Little Drops Inc. dedicated to serving around 100 orphaned kids in Manipur, India.
