Top 3 things about Purdue:

  1. The spirit and tradition
  2. BOP
  3. The quality of opportunities that a Purdue degree attracts

Favorite activity or hobby:

My favorite activity has been my role as a student leader at the Black Cultural Center.  I've had the opportunity to meet and learn from individuals across the country, from a TV chef to a Pulitzer prize winner.

Favorite class:

Organizational behavior and management (OBHR 330).  This class was really interesting to me because I learned a lot about what makes an effective leader and how different behaviors impact an organization.

What makes BOP special?

BOP is special because it's more than a program, it's a community.  I don't know how I would have made it through college without the strong network of peers I obtained through BOP.  I've traveled across the country, studied for exams, prepped for interviews and laughed for hours with my fellow BOP members, and I couldn't imagine it any other way.

How did BOP help you land multiple internship opportunities?

BOP was a critical piece in landing all of my internship opportunties.  I learned professionalism, interview, and networking skills in my BOP summer that have been integral to my success.
