PowerShift Case Competition

This annual case competition, hosted by the Daniels School's Brock-Wilson Center for Women in Business, challenges students to use their skills to create solutions for a real-world business issue involving gender diversity. The goal of the competition is to generate important dialogue and learning among future business leaders.

Teams of students prepare presentations with their recommendations. Judges, typically selected from the business community and from Purdue faculty, award prizes to the first, second and third-place teams and to students recognized as “outstanding presenters.”

“Participating in the PowerShift case competition really opened my eyes to these gender norms so when I approach my career, I’ll take those ideas with me. It’s very empowering hearing about these women that we studied and examples where they succeeded.” — PowerShift Team Member
