Background: TVS is setting up a separate business unit for electric vehicles in India. The sourcing will be CKD units from China and the market is across India. Approach to these markets could be sequential and not simultaneous. Targetted at the bottom of the pyra.
Business objectives: To design cost effective Manufacturing setup and Distribution Logistics for Electric Vehicles in India.
Project: Evaluation of the Scooty Institute

Background: The penetration of automobiles amongst Collage going girls is very low (<5%). The key barrier is awareness of riding and access to vehicles. TVS Scooty Institute is an initiative to offer riding classes for girls at a very nominal cost of less than Rs.500.
Business objectives: Improve penetration amongst Collage going girls by creating awareness, salience and knowledge about the category and brand.
Project: Marketing spend effectiveness analysis - StaR

Background: To analyse productwise marketing spends and correspond the same with the target benefits and map to the results achieved.
Business objectives: To maximise the effectiveness of the spend to set direction for the future.
Project: Develop clusters with TVS M CRM data - Buying patten Vs Customers profile - Scooty

Background: We have information about the customers who are buying our products thru our DMS system.We need to do deep dive and analyse these data.
Business objectives: We design our products based on customer insights . After the product is launched we need to check back if our assumptions are true.
Project: Business analytics with dealership service data - Insight in customer complaints

Background: We have information about the Jobcard information thru our DMS system.We need to do deep dive and analyse these data.
Business objectives: To analyze these complaint informations and predict the trend and be more proactive to correct them.
Project: Integration of information system with logistics for better visibility in the supplier chain
Students: Mark Sobers & Sergio Uribe
Background: We get monthy orders from dealers for each models split into weeks.
Business objectives: We need to generate a despatch plan and inform dealers , when they will receive there consingements.
