Randall E. Warring

1. Colonel Randall E. Warring - Vice Director of the 448th Supply Chain Management Wing, Air Force Sustainment Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma

Colonel Randall E. Warring is the Vice Director of the 448th Supply Chain Management Wing, Air Force Sustainment Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, where he is responsible for enterprise-wide strategic planning and execution of the Air Force Supply Chain. The Wing employs over 2,900 personnel across Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, and Robins Air Force Base, Georgia and has a budget authority worth over $6.3 billion annually supporting the Air Force, Army, Navy, Marine Corps, federal agencies and 60 partner nations world-wide. Col Warring has excelled in various positions at the Wing, AF Staff, Army Staff, Combat Joint Task Forces, Geographic Combatant Commands, and U.S. Embassies abroad. He’s a Logistics Readiness Officer, Aircraft Maintenance/Munitions Officer, and a Regional Affairs Strategist, as well as, a graduated Logistics Squadron Commander with combat tours in Iraq supporting IRAQI FREEDOM in 2004 and in 2008-2009.

Jan-Anders Manson

2. Jan-Anders Manson, Ph.D.
Distinguished Professor of Materials & Chemical Engineering Purdue University

Dr. Jan-Anders Månson received his PhD in 1981 in Polymeric Materials and his MS in 1977 in Mechanical Engineering, both from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg Sweden.

Since 1990 he has been a Professor and the Laboratory Director at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland. In 2008 he became the President of International Academy of Sports Science and Technology, an International Olympic Committee. After his graduation he held positions as professor at the University of Washington, Seattle and at KTH in Stockholm Sweden. He also served as Director and Vice President at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lousanne.

Dr. Månson’s research is focused on novel cost-effective materials and manufacturing methods as well as unique additional functionalities, beyond the classical performance characteristics of composite materials. This research has led to over 600 scientific publications and a number of patents and patent applications.

Scott R. Lake

3. Scott R. Lake - Global Manager; Supplier Development and Risk, Agriculture and Turf Division at Deere & Company

Scott Lake is Global Manager of Supply Chain Development, Worldwide Agriculture Division, Deere & Company, where he is responsible for managing the company’s global effort for monitoring supply chain performance and risk, and leading their activities to ensure continuity of supply.

Lake joined Deere & Company in 2005 as a Supply Base Manager in the Enterprise Supply Management Division. He held roles in strategic sourcing for over 6 years that included managing the company’s supply base for flat steel, global large agriculture tires, large construction tires, and semi-pneumatic seeding components. In 2013 Lake moved to his current position in Deere’s Worldwide Agriculture Division. Prior to Deere, Lake worked for Maytag Corporation where he held positions in direct material purchasing, material control, and materials planning.

A native of Illinois, Lake received his bachelor's degree from Western Illinois University and his Master’s Degree from Saint Ambrose University.

Jim Churchman

4. Jim Churchman- Vice-President Supply Chain Site Operations and Logistics at Advocate Health Care

Jim Churchman is the Vice-President of Supply Chain Site Operations and Logistics for Advocate Health Care based out of Downers Grove, Illinois. Jim has leadership responsibility for the supply chain operations at twelve acute-care hospitals, over three hundred physician offices, approximately sixty retail point-of-care outlets and two distribution center operations that includes inventory management, logistics and distribution of over $700M in annual medical supplies. Jim Churchman has over 30 years of leadership experience in supply chain and operations management within the healthcare, telecom, high tech electronics and automotive industries, with primary practice areas centering on sourcing and contract negotiations, procurement, distribution and logistics, continuous improvement and lean methodologies. Jim has served as an advisor to state and local governments in regards to eliminating operational redundancy, implementing centralized procurement strategies and efficient capital planning. In addition, Jim served on the Board of Education in Kansas from 2005 through 2009. Jim has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Purdue University; School of Technology and a Masters of Business Administration from the Executive Fellow Program – Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Mo. In addition, Jim is certified in purchasing law and is a certified lean / six sigma black belt. Jim has been married to his wife, Kim, for 29 years and has a son, Andrew, who is a junior in high school in Naperville, Il.

Dustin Smith

5. Dustin Smith - Senior Vice President & General Manager, Commercial Trailer Products at Wabash National

Dustin Smith was appointed to Senior Vice President – General Manager, Commercial Trailer Products on October 1, 2016.  Most recently he served as Vice President, Manufacturing, Commercial Trailer Products.  Mr. Smith joined Wabash National in 2007 and has held a number of positions with increasing responsibility, including Director of Finance for Wabash National.

Prior to Wabash National, from 2000 to 2007, Mr. Smith held various positions at Ford Motor Company in Dearborn Michigan, across both product development and manufacturing divisions, including Plant Controller.  His more than 15 years of experience in finance and operations gives Mr. Smith a unique understanding of how manufacturing systems and inputs directly affect financial results.

Mr. Smith holds a Bachelor of Science is Accounting and an MBA in Corporate Finance from Purdue University.  He has also attended executive programs at the Booth School of Management from University of Chicago, as well as Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.

Mr. Smith lives in West Lafayette, Indiana with his wife and three children.

Alexandra Sokol

6. Alexandra Sokol - Supply Chain Analyst, Corporate Planning Allocations at Arcelor Mittal

Alex Sokol is a Supply Chain Analyst at ArcelorMittal USA. In her current role, she works in the Corporate Planning department where she manages the order book capacities and transfer projects for all of our USA facilities. She has worked her way up through the company in previous planning and forecasting roles and has learned a lot about the steel making process along the way.

She received her undergraduate B.S. from Purdue University in Organizational Leadership and Supervision in 2011 with a Minor in French. She just recently completed her MBA from DePaul University concentrating in International Business and Human Resources.

In her free time, Alexandra gets to play Mommy to the most energetic, rambunctious 1 ½ year old boy named Joshua. They love to go on walks, play outside, and read books. Aside from being Mommy, Alexandra loves traveling and going on vacation with her husband to visit new countries and cultures while attempting to learn their languages. She is an avid sports fan -Go Cubbies!

S Greg Magnusen

7. S. Greg Magnusen - Sr. Director, Global Supply Chain at Eli Lilly and Company

Greg Magnusen is Senior Director of Global Supply Chain, Eli Lilly and Company, where he is responsible for pharmaceutical product supply chain management including ownership of global logistics, supply chain processes such as risk management and production planning, supply chain standards and leadership of the supply aspects of commercialization.

Mr. Magnusen joined Eli Lilly and Company in 2002 as a Process Engineer. He’s held a variety of roles with increasing responsibility across engineering, production operations and supply chain. Prior to Lilly, Mr. Magnusen worked for Technology Services Group in Chicago, IL.

Mr. Magnusen holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University.
