Center Graduate Assistant
Gustavo Amorim is a first year MBA student at Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management with concentration in operations, supply chain, and strategic management. Originally from Brazil, Gustavo moved to the United States to study at Brigham Young University, where he would earn a bachelor’s degreein Business Management. After his graduation from BYU he worked for Novell in Information Technology. Prior to coming to Purdue, he worked for 3 years in the Global Mining division of Caterpillar as a contract analyst for the service department. In this role, he prepared business proposals, financial analysis, and profitability studies. His role at Caterpillar gave him experience with many different areas of the company adding versatility to his repertoire.
Mirant Desai is a second year MBA student at Purdue University. Previously, he has worked in the manufacturing sector with one of India’s largest engineering conglomerate, Larsen and Toubro in its shipbuilding industry. At L&T, he worked as a naval architect in the design of the Navigation and Communication systems. His work role required him to work in several cross functional teams in domains such as strategic sourcing, procurement, inventory management, and project management. He seeks to leverage his skills and domain knowledge to launch his career to the next level to have a more strategic impact on operations and supply chain strategy.
Peter Jacobson is a first year MBA at Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management concentrating in supply chain management and marketing. Prior to Krannert, Peter was as a member of the supply chain team for premium audio and infotainment manufacturer Harman International, where he collaborated with a global team to ensure a robust supply chain from contract manufacturers in China and Malaysia. He graduated from Utah State University’s Huntsman School of business in 2010 with a dual major in finance and economics and was a member of the Huntsman Scholar Program. Peter is currently the President of the Krannert Energy Club and Vice President of Case Competitions for the Krannert Operations Club. He is looking forward to his summer internship with Emerson Climate Technologies in Sidney, Ohio
Stephanie Kruse is a first year MBA student at Krannert School of Management. Prior to joining the MBA program, Stephanie worked with Michaels Stores Inc. the largest art and craft retailer in the United States. As a member of the supply chain team, she participated in many supply chain improvement projects and worked with multiple teams to limit disruptions to product flow. She is a first year representative of the Purdue University Consulting Club and a member of Board Fellows. For her summer internship, she will be working with Shell in Houston, Texas.
Arjjodev Mukherjee, a second year MBA student, has 7 years of pre-MBA experience in management consulting, program management, software development and data driven strategy development. Prior to his MBA ,as a consultant in PwC and Cognizant he led projects which improved business processes or added business intelligence capability to the client organizations. In particular, at PriceWaterHouseCoopers he enabled an insurance client understand its customer segmentation by using data analytics methods and tools. While working for SunCoke Energy he made statistical and financial models to take data driven decisions on business strategy. He got the opportunity to work with the Vice President of Strategy and learnt to analyze business-marketing scenarios with a global perspective.
Dane Snyder is a first year MBA student at the Krannert School of Management. He has worked in Purdue’s High Energy Physics department as a Programming Team Leader focusing on automated machine assembly and design for detector technology at the European Center for Nuclear Research (CERN). He also has experience with financial management from his experiences in the Committee of Internal and Financial Affairs for Purdue’s Student Government.
Surnaik Srivastava is a second a second year MBA student majoring in Operations and Supply Chain. Prior to his MBA he was working with a leading IT exporter in India. He interned in Sears Corporation last summer and will be joining Amazon for Full-Time as operations manager. Apart from academics he is active in various clubs at Krannert and enjoys photography during his free time.
Andrejs Strateicuks is a second year MBA student at the Krannert School of Management with focus in Finance, Operations and Strategy. Andrejs has over six years of experience driving improvements at “Cemex” and “SPI Group” in Europe and Russia
Daniel Terayanont is currently pursuing his MBA at Krannert School of Management specializing in Operations Management. With a mechanical engineering (Bs. & Ms.) background Daniel joined Toyota Motor Thailand Co., Ltd. in 2009 as an engineer under the Product Planning and Development department. Additionally Daniel also setup his own property management and development company based in Thailand focusing in long term lease management, small scale boutique hotel, and retail space development. He is currently a Graduate Assistant at the DCMME & GSCMI Centers and Vice President of Operations Club at Krannert. Daniel is looking forward to his exciting internship opportunity at Amazon’s Fulfillment Center this summer. His goal is to enhance his management skill in order to fully exploit his diverse and global background.
Yesh Yalanahalli is currently pursuing his MBA at Purdue University with concentration on Operations and Strategy. Yesh has completed his Bachelors of Engineering in Information Science and Technology. After his graduation, he worked in consulting and services field for more than six years. His last assignment was at Oracle Corporation where he helped his clients to increase the productivity and efficiency of their supply chain and manufacturing systems.

MBA 2015 | VP of Events – Krannert Operations Club
Priyanka Govindraj has an undergraduate background in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana- Champaign. Upon graduation she worked as an Assistant Manager of Track Maintenance for a Class I Railroad, coordinating daily construction plans and process optimization. She is now studying Operations Management at the Krannert School of Management and plans to pursue a career in Operations as well.
Valerie Horein is a sophomore at Purdue majoring in Industrial Management with a concentration in Operations and Supply Chain Management. She is originally from Brownsburg, Indiana. Her previous work experience includes an internship at CEVA Logistics, as well as multiple restaurant server jobs including being a server trainer.
Ethel He is originally from Shanghai, China. She is currently a junior at Purdue University with major in Management and concentrations in management information systems, analytical consulting, and strategic management. Her professional experience spans different functions and industries—supporting a family business, serving as a sales assistant for Siemens Ltd. in Shanghai, and interning at an Australian resort. At Purdue, Ethel has acted as a team leader for BGRi, the orientation for international freshmen students. She also recently finished training for a similar program called MIX, where she will work with local and international students to help promote cultural integration among students at Purdue. During her last year at Purdue, she hopes to learn more, experience more, and grow more!
Jialu Huang is a sophomore majoring in Accounting and Finance at Purdue University. She will graduate in December 2016 and hopes to complete a concentration in Supply Chain Management.
Russ is a 2nd year MBA student focusing in Operations and Strategy. He has 11 years of experience as an operations manager with a startup disabilities services company in the Purdue Research Park. Leveraging his background in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics and his distinction as a Library of Congress Certified Braille Transcriber, he helped develop a Braille production process that increased operational efficiency 500%. Russ interned with Cummins Turbo Technologies this past summer and was able to lead a 6 Sigma project resulting in freight savings of $33,000 annually. He also designed a process to set and manage global safety stock for over $120 million of inventory across seven plants on four continents. Russ is a former Vice President of the Krannert Operations Club and will serve as a Financial Systems Support Manager with Cummins upon graduation.
Khashif Hasnat Khan
Kashif Hasnat Khan is a second year MBA student majoring in Supply Chain and Strategy. He has over 4 years of work experience working in supply chain and operations. Kashif started his career as a mechanical engineer in 2008 working as a management trainee for KSB pumps. He then moved on to JGC-Descon where he worked as a design engineer. After working there for a year and a half, Kashif was hired by Unilever to work as AM operation for their food production facility. Later he was promoted to the role of Operation Excellence manager within Unilever, and then to the position of Supply Planner. In 2012 he moved to Purdue for his MBA. Over the summer of 2013 Kashif worked as a Supply Chain Sustainability intern in PepsiCo North America Beverages. Kashif graduates from his MBA program in May, 2014. He will be joining A.T. Kearney as an Analytics Associate in their Procurement and Analytics Solution department.
UG 2014 | President – Operations and Supply Chain Organization
Laura Mazzocco is a senior studying Industrial Management with a concentration in Operations and Supply Chain at Krannert School of Management at Purdue University. She was recently elected President of the Operations and Supply Chain Organization (OSCO) after having been an active member for two semesters. After graduation in May 2014, Laura will begin her first rotation as a Supply Chain and Operations Talent Acceleration Program Associate at Land O’Lakes, Inc.
Greg Nichter is a junior at Purdue’s Krannert School of Management studying economics. He is also pursuing concentrations in operations and supply chain management, analytical consulting, and management. Outside of class, he spends his time playing sports—you will find him regularly playing basketball and participating in intramural sports.
Audrey Pierick is currently a sophomore at Purdue majoring in industrial management. She is concentrating in operations and supply chain management. This summer, she will be working for Norfolk Southern in Atlanta, Georgia as a revenue accounting and customer service intern.
Arvind Selvakesari is a freshmen at Purdue majoring in Aeronautical Engineering Technology with a minor in Economics. He joined OSCO to satisfy his curiosity for operations and learn some concepts to apply to his future career.
MBA 2015 | President – Krannert Operations Club
Brandon is a 1st year MBA student concentrating in Operations and Supply Chain Management. He is actively involved in Krannert as President of the Operations Club. Prior to coming to Krannert, he spent three years in various roles within food distribution management. Most recently, he worked as a manager on a cross-functional team on new business acquisitions. He graduated in 2010 from Babson College with concentrations in Entrepreneurship & Retail Supply Chain Management.
Andrew Tye is an MBA student from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management. His professional experience includes operations management, engineering design at Caterpillar, business consulting at IBM Global Business Services, and supply chain consulting at A.T. Kearney. Prior to attending Krannert he studied Computer & Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering at Purdue. Andrew served as Vice President of Professional Development for the Purdue Consulting Club and currently develops applications for the Purdue College of Engineering.
Monica Ravi is a second year MBA student focusing in Operations management. She worked in the field of Information Technology in India prior to her MBA, leveraging her background as a computer science engineer. She gained valuable skills in operations and supply chain management through her internship with Amazon last summer.
Zach Tahiru is a 1st year MBA concentrating in Supply Chain Operations, and Strategy. He graduated from the University of Tennessee’s top ranked Supply Chain program with a dual concentration in Marketing and worked for TRW Automotive for two years in Supply Chain Orchestration, Materials Planning, and most recently as a Master Production Scheduler before deciding to return to school to pursue his MBA at The Krannert School of Management. Originally from Corona, Ca, Zach is active in the Krannert Community and currently serves as Vice President of Professional and Organizational Development for the Krannert Graduate Student Association.
Xinxin Xi is an MBA student, class of 2014, focusing on operations and supply chain management. She has worked in 3 countries, is an expert in Six Sigma project management, inventory management, data analysis, business negotiations and has had proven success in cross-functional team management. She is currently looking for a full-time job in supply chain management.
