Get Stimulated by Technology

person interacting with technology wordsIf you have not yet visited our Purdue ‘Engagement Center’, then now is the time to book a free slot to see how low-entry level technology is being applied in other manufacturing companies. With technology between about $1K-15K you can see real applications and get inspired to think how new technology can be applied successfully on your own site. The technologies include the use of drones (for inspection, recording current-state of capital assets for example), sensor-rich wearable gloves (so a novice wearer can quickly get up to speed with a new hand-work process), Visual Augmentation googles (to provide information and alerts while doing repetitive piece-work) and 3D printers (to fabricate one-off intricate parts or to provide cheap prototyping for potential customers. There is much more. Contact us for an appointment at dcmme@purdue.edu
