Tom Aliff (Senior Vice President-US Data and Analytics, Equifax)

Tom Aliff is a Senior Vice President-US Data and Analytics- with Equifax. Tom consults with and develops insight driven solutions for organizations on the use of data and predictive analytics to drive decisions throughout the relationship lifecycle spanning marketing, credit, commercial, insurance, and fraud. Tom is a double Purdue Boilermaker graduating with an undergraduate degree in Mathematics in Statistics and also a Master’s Degree in Applied Statistics.


Venky Arun (VP, A.T. Kearney)

Venky currently is the Vice President of A.T. Kearney. Venky received his Bachelors in Electronics and Communication Engineering, from MSRIT, Visvesvaraya Technological University and his MBA from Krannert School of Management (Purdue University). In his spare time, he enjoys time with family and friends and catching up on cricket and tennis.


Tim Coleman (VP and Information Officer, Eli Lilly and Company)

Tim is currently Vice President and Information Officer, Medicines Development Information & Digital Solutions, at Eli Lilly and Company where he is responsible for delivering IT strategies and solutions for research & development business areas. In this role, Tim directs a global portfolio of change initiatives and IT programs in partnership with senior business and research executives for global regulatory affairs, global patient safety, and product research & development. Tim earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management and Computer Science from Purdue University and his Master of Management (MBA) degree from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.


Gail Farnsley (VP, Gartner)

Gail partners with CIO and other executive clients as a trusted advisor, focusing in particular on global technology and business strategy planning, cost optimization, and helping her clients build high-performance teams. Gail’s degree in computer science (Bowling Green State University) led to a career of expanding responsibility in information technology at Public Service Indiana, Emery Air Freight and Georgia-Pacific. She then received her MBA at Krannert School of Management before joining Cummins, where she eventually became VP of global information technology and CIO.


John B. Matchette (North America Applied Practice Lead, Accenture)

John leads Accenture’s North America Applied Intelligence Practice which specializes in artificial Intelligence, analytics, and automation. John also leads the global Applied Intelligence Platforms (AIP). AIP collaborates with Accenture’s ecosystem partners to develop AI solutions and John’s scope of responsibilities include R&D, operations, partner management, commercials, and sales. He is also a member of Accenture’s Global Leadership Committee and North America Leadership Team.


Neil Hoyne (Chief Measurement Strategist, Google)

Enigmatically named, this concurrent position was created to leverage data held by Neil’s team, strategies and market insights directly with senior leadership from our top-spending advertisers. Additionally, helping to write analytical narratives and trainings embraced successfully by our sales teams worldwide. Prior to that, Neil was the Global Head of Customer Analytics.


Rajiv Phougat (Leading Digital Transformation of KPMG Deal Advisory & Strategy with Data, Analytics and AI/ML)

As Managing Director (CTO) for Deal Advisory & Strategy, Rajiv is responsible for Technology Strategy and Architecture for Deal Advisory & Strategy's Data and Analytics group. Rajiv was Advisor to CTO organization (Global Information Services – GIS) at Eli Lilly & Company, He was responsible to define and implement enterprise technology strategy and architecture. Before this, he was CTO for Automotive Industry Solutions at IBM Corporation. He was charged with defining innovative industry solutions and strategy for global OEMs and related clients using cutting-edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain & IoT. Before this role, he was global Technical Strategy Leader for Watson and designed several Cognitive solutions for clients across different industries. He also drove technology and operational innovation for a strategic account as Global Technical Advisor and oversaw strategic partnership; technical solution proposals; the integration of various IBM capabilities; deliver integrated and persuasive architectural thought leadership; and the alignment of account sales strategy with client’s business/IT strategy.

Jim Young (Chief Data Officer, AIG Insurance)

Jim Young is a 1992 graduate of the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a B.S. in Finance and a 1994 graduate of Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management with an MBA in Finance and Accounting. As Chief Data Officer, Jim oversees the architecture, development and maintenance of the data capabilities for the $30+ Billion General Insurance business of AIG. Prior to joining AIG, Jim spent over 5 years with Allstate as their Director of Business Intelligence and over 2 years as a Director with United Devices before assuming the role of Vice President of Business Intelligence and Analytics with Travelers Insurance, where he served for over 7 years.


Senior Fellows:

Aaron Lai

Aaron Lai, CFA, is the Senior Manager of Market Analytics of Blue Shield of California in San Francisco and formerly a VP and Senior Quantitative Research Associate of the Bank of America. He has over 15 years’ experience in consumer analytics and credit risk management. In addition to dozens of publications in academic journals, professional magazines, and technical books, he has also presented in many international conferences and received several patents. He has two B.Sc. (Finance from City University of Hong Kong and Management Studies from University of London), as well as a MBA from Purdue and two M.Sc. from Oxford (Sociology and Evidence-based Healthcare).


Patrick Mosher

Patrick Mosher is the Accenture Managing Director, Emeritus. He is a global leader in architecting complex solutions for Sales & Marketing organizations. He has significant cross-industry experience with deep specialty in facilitating large scale change in large organizations. Patrick has over 28 years’ experience in industry and consulting delivering value around transforming sales, marketing and service workforces; designing, developing, and deploying innovative organization strategies; reengineering processes; gaining adoption and driving value for large scale initiatives.
