Competition Description

Teams of 4 students make a “pitch” to a panel of judges, making the business case for acquiring a target company. The company is to be publicly traded.

Teams can start working on this now.

Important Dates
3/16 registration deadline
3/30 deadline to submit presentation in PITCH
4/3 presentations, awards, and networking

Requirements and competition guide

• Each Valuation Case Competition team must consist of four full-time undergraduate and/or graduate students.
• Freshmen students are not permitted to participate in the Valuation Case Competition BUT are permitted and encouraged to participate in the STAMINA4 Zimmer Biomet Finance Case Competition.
• Visit PITCH to learn more about the competition 
• Networking time with judges will be held after the awards program 
• Each participating team should include one member who has completed at least one of the following:
  • MGMT 310
  • MGMT 610
  • Purdue Finance Wall Street Prep Workshop (hosted any year)
