Susan Krystek is a Managing Director at Accenture with over 30 years of supply chain and consulting experience in the high-tech industry. She is passionate about bringing value to clients through the development of creative and innovative solutions, utilizing a truly human approach to automation.
Susan began her professional career at IBM, writing computer programs for a component procurement team and quickly progressed through a variety of procurement positions. Her broad supply chain expertise includes management of divisional inventory, global forecasting for all IBM hardware divisions, and life cycle management. While responsible for a $2B global outsourced procurement operation, she led the development of two patented business processes. Susan joined Accenture 4 years ago as a Supply Chain Consulting Principle Director, was promoted to Managing Director, and has recently expanded her role to include the growth, profitability and service delivery of a 700-member supply chain and financial operations team for a multinational aerospace & defense client. Throughout her career, Susan has held leadership positions in the Society of Women Engineers and has served as a mentor to women navigating careers in the high-tech industry / supply chain consulting.
Susan has two adult children and resides in the Hudson Valley, New York where she is Treasurer of her church and President of a women’s Sweet Adelines International acapella barbershop chorus. She is a graduate of Purdue, with a B.S. in Industrial Management - Industrial Engineering Concentration, and an IBM certified Consulting Supply Chain Management Professional.
