Rick Pompa, Chief Financial Officer, Global Purchasing & Supply Chain, General Motors
Richard (Rick) began his career at General Motors (GM) in 1994 and has worked at the company for over 27 years in a variety of roles on the Finance Staff. He currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer for GM’s Global Purchasing and Supply Chain operations, focused on cost optimization, as well as the security and sustainability of material procurement and logistics. Prior to his current role, Rick held the position of Executive Director, Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis.
Other positions he has held at GM include Chief Financial Officer of GM Middle East Operations in Dubai, UAE, Director of North America Financial Planning and Analysis, and Director of Finance for Global Product Programs
Rick holds a BA in Accounting from Michigan State University and MSM in Finance from the Krannert School of Business at Purdue University.
Rick currently resides in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
