Purdue HR Case Competition & Conference

Competition Date: November 4 - 5, 2020 Will be held virtually*
Conference Date: Cancelled

At the Krannert School of Management, we know that well-trained and dedicated Human Resource Professionals can maximize the effectiveness of an organization’s human capital in order to gain a sustainable advantage in an increasingly competitive world. With that idea in mind, we are pleased to announce the 2020 Purdue HR Case Competition & Conference.

This will be an opportunity for students to compete while sharing creative solutions with business leaders from the companies that do HR best. Additionally, the competition will feature both a graduate and undergraduate division (should contain 4 to 5 presenters), with cash prizes rewarded to 1st- and 2nd-place teams in each division, as well as the best speaker and the best Q&A responder among all participants.

As always, thank you to our corporate sponsors for your continuous support of Purdue’s Krannert School of Management.

*After much deliberation, we have made the following adjustments to our 2020 HR Case Competition & Conference!

Due to COVID-19 and Purdue University Policies, the 2020 HR Case Competition will now be fully virtual, and the HR Conference is cancelled for this year. Also, due to budgetary constraints and university guidelines, the award amount(s) will be reduced. Consequently, registration fees will also be adjusted accordingly. The 2020 HR Case Competition will simply be a much shorter online version.

We still expect our 2020 HR Case Competition to be held to the upmost quality. Please be assured that our committee is working very hard to ensure this becomes a smooth transition and process for all our participants. Our goal is offering all participants an excellent experience, but on a much smaller, virtual scale.

As always, thank you to our corporate sponsors for your continuous support of Purdue’s Krannert School of Management. We thank everyone for their patience, and hope to see you all virtually in November!
