Jyotika, also known as Joy, currently works at Accenture in New York City as a Consultant. She graduated from the Krannert School of Management with a B.S. in Management & Marketing in December 2015 (with the Entrepreneurship Certificate). While attending Krannert, Joy was very involved in extracurricular activities where she held leadership positions in Alpha Kappa Psi and TedXPurdueU. She also worked for Melissa Evens and with her guidance was able to create the Stamina Case Competition, Krannert Research Symposium, and help set up the Krannert Leadership Communication Studio.
While at Purdue, Joy completed internships with OTIS Elevator and GEICO. However, she ultimately joined Accenture after graduating from Krannert. She is currently the Project Management Lead at a large agricultural client and oversees a team of 20 people and manages $20 million in services. Joy has been very lucky to have been involved in many projects where she held leadership roles such as the Change Lead, PMO Lead, and IT Product Owner in the past 3 years. She has had the privilege to travel domestically and abroad for her projects and is excited to continue her life in the skies.
Outside of work, Joy enjoys spending time with friends, travelling, trying out new restaurants, learning how to cook new recipes, and watching movies (she is a huge Marvel and DC fan). Joy has been engaged to her fiancé for the past year and recently bought a house with him in Westchester, New York this past summer.
