Tom is co-founder and CEO of Morales Group, Inc (MGI). After 23 successful years in sales and marketing with such companies as Procter and Gamble, Union Carbide and Donaldson Corporation, explored other opportunities to serve his community. In 2003, Tom launched MGI to be a bridge between the Indianapolis business community and the growing Hispanic population. Today, the company has grown into four divisions that target specific staffing needs and performance-based labor solutions.
Under Tom's leadership, MGI has been recognized as one of the fastest growing Hispanic owned businesses in America, one of the best places to work in Indiana, an INC 5000 firm, and one of the nation's top 100 Hispanic businesses. By embracing his Mexican heritage, as well as his Hoosier roots, Tom has established himself as a leader in the community. Tom serves on the board of directors of for the Immigrant Welcome Center and the board of Elevate Indianapolis; and served on the board for The Boy Scouts (Crossroads of America) and the St. Francis Foundation. He is also a member of the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce. Tom was also a Commissioner of the Metropolitan Development Commission and was appointed by Gov. Daniels as a commissioner of the State Student Assistance Commission (SSAC).
He has lectured around the United States on immigration issues and continues to advocate on behalf of the Hispanic community. Tom earned his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University. Dedicated to God, family and community Tom exemplifies family values. Tom has been married for 42 years to his high school sweetheart, Chris. They are the proud parents of five children.
