Gender Leadership

Dr. Ellen Ernst Kossek is the inaugural research director of the Susan Bulkeley Butler Center for Leadership Excellence, a center that focused on advancing study and leadership development for women leaders to foster gender inclusive cultures. She is the recipient of the Academy of Management's Gender and Diversity in Organizations Division's Sage scholarly achievement award. This award recognizes research that significantly advances knowledge and understanding of gender and organizations. In 2016, she organized the Butler Center in Krannert School of Management's first Leadership Excellence and Gender Symposium on bridging research to practice at Purdue University.
