Dr. Tongseok Lim earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of British Columbia in 2016. He was a postdoctoral research assistant in Mathematics at Oxford University, UK for 2016-18 and an Assistant Professor in Mathematics at ShanghaiTech University, China for 2018-20 where he taught Linear Algebra and Stochastic Processes. Tongseok has expertise in Analysis, Probability and their applications in Optimization, Economics and Finance. He has published in fifteen academic journals including The Annals of Probability, Probability Theory and Related Fields, SIAM Journals (SICON, SIFIN, SIDMA, SIAP, SIOPT), Mathematical Programming, Mathematics of Operations Research, Archive for Rational Mechanics and Analysis, Communications in Mathematical Physics.
