1990s

MARCY GREENBERG (MS ’92), San Jose, CA, has joined Move Inc., a subsidiary of News Corp. and operator of online real estate services destination realtor.com, as executive vice president. She most recently served as director of global leadership and talent development at NetApp.

JEFFREY W. ALLEN (PhD ’94), Frisco, TX, has joined Navigator Energy Services LLC as chief financial officer and senior vice president. In his new role, Allen is responsible for all financial functions of the company including sourcing and structuring potential transactions, financial analysis development and reporting, and strategic planning.

LANCE R. EMERY (BS ’94), was named human resources director of North America for the recently merged firms of Willis and Towers Watson in Chicago. The combined firms, now named Willis Towers Watson, have over $8.2 billion in revenue with over 39,000 employees in over 120 countries.

KATE WALKER (BS ’95), Cincinnati, OH, is a project consultant for 84.51°, a powerhouse in pioneering customer engagement. She is responsible for helping clients activate on the most granular verified shopping behavior and measure across retail and national media channels for both single and cross-channel accountability.

JENNIFER ASPELL (MS ’97) was promoted to president, engineered polymer solutions, of Tredegar’s PE Films division. She has been with Tredegar since 2010 when she assumed the leadership role for Bright View Technologies, a manufacturer of advanced, optical-management products based in Durham, NC.

MELANIE KING (BS ’98), Noblesville, IN, recently joined The Hagerman Group as the controller in the accounting department and is based in the Fishers office. She is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounting department throughout the entire firm.

ANGIE HIPSHER (BS ’99), Indianapolis, IN, has been promoted to principal in Risk Consulting services at Crowe Horwath LLP, one of the largest public accounting, consulting, and technology firms in the United States.

2000s

KENDRA SPEED (MBA ’03), Charlotte, NC, was named to the newly created position of consumer research director at Crescent Communities. She had most recently served as senior business intelligence manager at Michelin North America.

JEFF DURR (BS ’05), Atlanta, GA, was promoted to partner at Gallup in January 2016.

DAVID ARTHUR OWEN (BS ’05), Dallas, TX, was named area senior vice president at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., a global commercial insurance brokerage. His primary focus is to provide risk management consulting services to companies in the commercial real estate and upstream energy industries. Owen recently received recognition from Risk & Insurance magazine, which named him a 2015 Power Broker.

2010s

EMILY (WORRELL) ROSE (BS ’11), Martinsville, IN, was promoted to senior associate II at BKD in Indianapolis. She is a member of the BKD Wealth Plan team and focuses primarily on tax compliance for individuals, trusts and family investment partnerships, as well as gift and estate planning. 

TIMOTHY GORDON (BS ’14), Indianapolis, IN, was recently named a Woodrow Wilson Indiana teaching fellow, one of 10 Purdue grads among this year’s 49 honorees. Each Fellow receives $30,000 to complete a special master’s degree program in exchange for a three-year commitment to teach in Indiana districts in need.
