Purdue University is located near Interstate 65, just one hour northwest of Indianapolis and two hours southeast of Chicago.

The Krannert Professional Development Center (KPDC) is located in Rawls Hall, which is situated across from the Krannert Building on the corner of State Street and Grant Street in West Lafayette, Indiana. The KPDC office is on the third floor of Rawls Hall in Suite 3029.

Noel S Paul

Noel S Paul

Executive Director

Noel is an experienced international business leader whose strengths lie in strategy development, implementation, coaching and delivering results. He brings skills in start-ups, turnarounds, business transformations as well as organizational design/development and culture change. Noel has a breadth of functional experience across engineering/manufacturing/supply chain, commercial operations, human resources and corporate social responsibility. His functional experience spans multiple industries including pharma/biotech, animal health, technology and retail, and he has led business initiatives that span across five continents.

Education: BSCE, MBA Purdue University

Claudine Meilink

Claudine Meilink

Associate Director, Corporate Outreach

Originally from the state of Ohio, Claudine has worked in the public sector as a case manager and program administrator with Lucas County Job & Family Services. After graduate school, Claudine accepted a position with Purdue University’s Center for Career Opportunities (CCO). She joined the KPDC team in July 2014.

Haley Baker

Assistant Director of Undergraduate Career Services

Haley is a former human resources professional with corporate experience in the non-profit, automotive, electrical supply and manufacturing industries. Through her role in undergraduate career services, she advises students, teaches a professional development course, and helps coordinate the School of Management fall and spring career fairs. Haley’s focus is on being a steadfast resource to each person she encounters, which goes hand in hand with her role.

Jessica Chapman

Associate Director of Undergraduate & Alumni Services

Jessica has over eight years of career development experience in higher education. She provides personalized internship and career counseling for students, serves as an advisor for the School of Management Employers Forum, teaches a professional career management course, and works with alumni and employers to organize student career engagement events

Education: Blackburn College, MS Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College


Jennifer Highland

Senior Administrative Assistant

Jennifer began her career with Purdue in the College of Health and Human Sciences as the Student Services secretary in the summer of 2011. Jennifer has worked with a variety of student organizations and has planned events ranging from new student welcomes to graduation receptions and career fairs. Jennifer is a graduate of the Purdue University ACE Program.

Gene Ivnik

Gene Ivnik

Associate Director

Gene has a background in engineering and functional expertise in operations, sales and marketing, strategy, and profit and loss management. He came to the Krannert Professional Development Center after working as the president of a $170 million organization in a consumer product industry. Gene’s primary role is coaching students in the areas of career search strategy and leadership development.

Apurva Lagwankar

Senior Professional Development Consultant

Apurva is a Purdue MSHRM graduate with a background in training, change management and talent acquisition. She has lived in India, Canada and the United States and is driven to empower students to achieve their professional goals. She works closely with undergraduate international students during their internships and full-time job search and assists with KPDC’s professional management course.

Min Li

Assistant Director, International Employer Relations & Brand Development

Min is originally from Yunnan Province, China. While pursuing her MSHRM degree, she interned with KPDC and increased the number of relationships with top Chinese companies and alumni. Prior to attending Purdue, Min worked for four years as a generalist with China Southern Power Grid, a Fortune 500 company. Min’s core focus is on international employer relations, which compliments her passion to develop students as future industry achievers and leaders.

Chris Luebbe

Associate Director, Career Counseling

Chris began his career working in the blood banking industry for the American Red Cross, focusing on employee hiring and training. He has been with the Krannert Professional Development Center since May 2009 and specializes in resume review, statistical reporting and employer recruiting.

Erik Props

Associate Director, Undergraduate & Alumni Careers (Corporate Development)

Erik is an experienced professional with 20 years in student services at Purdue. He markets career services, events and opportunities to students, alumni and employers; establishes and cultivates relationships with employers; coordinates the School of Management fall and spring career fairs; manages on-campus job postings and recruitment activities and tracks and analyzes all student and employer data.

Sarah Ratekin

Director of CareerBound and Undergraduate Student Engagement

Sarah is an experienced international speaker and leader who is passionate about engagement, diversity, and workplace culture, combining her academic pursuits and professional experience for sustainable and transformational results. She has enjoyed working in a wide variety of industries and capacities, starting with a stint in the U.S. Navy and expanding into manufacturing, government, pharma/agriculture and international consulting.

Advisors In-Residence

Pris Gerde

Pris has a bachelor's degree from Purdue, and is an experienced manager and advisor. She spent nearly 38 years in the pharmaceutical industry with career responsibilities ranging from communications and corporate social responsibility to relief sales roles. Her final 18 years in the industry were spent in human resources, with responsibility for employee benefits administration for the company’s $300 million health plan. Here specialties include career counseling, job search strategies, resume writing and correspondence, and interview skills acquisition.


Susan Niemczyk

Sue is a seasoned executive and former vice president with expertise in operations management, team building, personnel development, and strategic planning. She has worked with several global corporations such as Stouffers, Marriott and Sodexo and has industry experience in the fields of healthcare, education, and contract management. Sue is also a former Purdue University instructor. Currently, she works with both the graduate and undergraduate leadership programs and loves coaching tomorrow’s women business leaders.


Alan Studzinski

Alan is an experienced senior executive who spent over 40 years managing operations in the hospitality industry. His past responsibilities have included operational management, supply chain management, strategic planning, and customer relationship development. Alan has worked with some of the largest hospitality companies in the industry, including Marriott Corporation and Hyatt Hotels and Resorts. Alan has a culinary arts degree and an associate’s degree in Food Service Management from Oakland University.
