Tip to Mentees:

  • I would definitely encourage Krannert's incoming freshmen to set some high expectations. Those expectations help determine the types of activities that are participated in later on and the level of effort that is put forth. Secondly, I would recommend setting tentative goals and writing them down. Setting a timeline in place for the realization of the steps required for the goals significantly increases the probability of their realization. Thirdly, having a group of students with similar classes establishes accountability and assists with academic success. Finally, I would recommend to make sure to set some time aside to have fun and enjoy college!
