Recognized for his “transcendent impact” on students, McIntire Professor of Management David Lehman has been honored with a 2016 All-University Teaching Award. One of nine professors across five UVA schools to receive the award, Lehman, along with the other honorees, was officially recognized at an April 27, 2016, banquet, held in Alumni Hall. A student of organizational learning and authenticity, Lehman was praised by those who nominated him for challenging assumptions about behavior and using innovative methods to illustrate his concepts. | |

Dr. Cody Logan Chullen, Ph.D., a graduate of Purdue University, has recently been named recipient of the University Alumni Award for Outstanding Teaching at East Carolina University (ECU). This award is given annually to the faculty member at the university who best demonstrates the seven characteristics of teaching effectiveness: good organization, effective communication, knowledge of and enthusiasm for the subject matter and teaching, positive attitudes towards students, fairness in examinations and grading, flexibility in approaches to teaching, and assessing appropriate student learning outcomes. | |

Talya Bauer Cameron Professor of Management, School of Business Administration, Portland State University |
Dr. Bauer was the winner of Purdue University - 2016 Distinguished Women Scholar Award. She is the Cameron Professor of Management at Portland State University and an affiliated faculty member in the psychology department. She conducts research about relationships at work. She researches in the areas of new hire onboarding, recruitment, selection, overqualification, mentoring and leadership for samples ranging from executives, police officers, knowledge workers, retail employees, teachers, health care workers, research scientists, bank employees and nurses in many different countries. | |

Dr. McKeon was the 2012 co-winner of the Financial Research Association's Michael J. Barclay Award, which is given to a young scholar whose early work shows promise in the world of finance. His research has been cited in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Forbes, MarketWatch, Smart Money and Maclean's, and he appeared as a guest expert on Fox Business News to discuss the collapse of MF Global, a major brokerage firm run by Jon Corzine. |
