Thanks to the generosity of Krannert alumni and donors, we have over 110 privately endowed scholarship funds that provide scholarship aid to more than 250 Krannert students each year. To maximize scholarship consideration, students should complete the Purdue University Scholarship Application as well as a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by Dec. 15th.

Preference given to students who meet the following (In order of importance): (1) Enrolled in the Krannert School of Management; (2) Working towards certificate in entrepreneurship and innovation through the Burton D. Nancy H. Handel Scholarship Award
Established in 2000 by Nancy Handel (BS Industrial Management ’72)
Criteria: Krannert students with minimum 3.0 GPA in their primary area of study, and are also active in extracurricular activities

Nancy Handel Study Abroad Scholarship in School of Management
Study abroad scholarship for Krannert undergraduates participating in a study abroad program.
Students must complete an application through the Krannert Study Abroad Office
Noden Undergrad Scholarship
Established in 2000 by Ron (BS Social Sciences ’95) and Mary Ann Noden
Criteria: Merit based scholarship for undergraduate students from Hawaii, Illinois or Michigan, enrolled in the Krannert School of Management. Student must be a Sophomore, Junior or Senior.
Palmer Family Business Opportunity Program Scholarship
Established in 2016 by recommendation of Tim Palmer (BA English ’80) by the Palmer Family Foundation of the Bank of America Charitable Gift Fund
Criteria: Female and/or underrepresented minority who participates in the Dr. Cornell A. Bell Business Opportunity Program and is enrolled in the Krannert School of Management
Rene & Karen Lewin Management Scholarship
Established by Rene (BS Industrial Management ’68) and Karen Lewin in 2015
Criteria: Undergraduate student from Indiana who is a female student and/or underrepresented minority student; enrolled in the Krannert School of Management; with demonstrated academic merit.

Spartan Trail Foundation Scholarship
Established in 2018 through the generosity of the Spartan Train Foundation
A full tuition scholarship for undergraduates enrolled in the Krannert School of Management with demonstrated academic merit and financial need.

Howatt Scholars’ Program
Established by Thomas (MS Labor/Industrial Relations ’72) Howatt in 2018
Criteria: One annual scholarship granted each year to a member of the Delta Triton chapter of the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity at the University who lives in the chapter house. The scholarship shall be granted to the student (incoming sophomore, junior or senior) who has the highest GPA from the previous year of all members of Phi Sigma Kappa
