Ei Sandi Nwe is a Ph.D. candidate at Strategic Management department of Krannert Graduate School of Management, Purdue University. Her research interests centre around the intersection of social capital and corporate social responsibility (CSR). She uniquely views CSR as a source of social capital that firms can strategically accumulate and deploy based on their strategic needs. Her central thesis is that firms can strategically manage and leverage on their social capital through CSR initiatives.
