Koungjin Lim is a Ph.D. candidate in the Strategic Management Area at Krannert School of Management. He is currently focused on two research streams. As the first research stream, his research examines a demand-side driver of a firm's strategic decisions and performances. As the second research stream, he studies how a firm's business failure influences subsequent decisions of the firm and its stakeholders. He explores these issues, using quasi-experimental designs and computational research methods. Prior to joining academia, he worked at the Financial Management Department of Samsung Electronics, Samil PwC, and the Seoul High Court. He is a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) holder as well.
