Suggested IM CHM/PHYS Course combinations

If you are an Industrial Management student you are required to take 7-8 credit hours of CHM/PHYS courses and receive a C- or above in those courses. Below are some of the recommended course combinations for CHM/PHYS:

  • CHM 11500: General Chemistry OR (CHM 11100: General Chemistry AND CHM 11200: General Chemistry) AND CHM 11600: General Chemistry
  • CHM 11500: General Chemistry OR (CHM 11100: General Chemistry AND CHM 11200: General Chemistry) AND PHYS 17200: Modern Mechanics
  • CHM 11500: General Chemistry OR (CHM 11100: General Chemistry AND CHM 11200: General Chemistry) AND PHYS 22000: General Physics
  • PHYS 22000: General Physics AND PHYS 22100: General Physics
  • PHYS 17200: Modern Mechanics AND PHYS 24100: Electricity and Optics
  • PHYS 17200: Modern Mechanics AND PHYS 27200: Electric and Magnetic Interactions
  • PHYS 17200: Modern Mechanics AND PHYS 22100: General Physics

If you would like to take a different set of CHM/PHYS courses, please discuss with your advisor to make sure that they qualify.
