The program is open to undergraduate students with a 2.5 GPA  and who have successfully completed MGMT 305 or ECON E2700 or STAT 350 or STAT 511 and ECON 25100 (Microeconomics).

Course Credits: ECON 36000 Econometrics & ECON 37000 International Trade for 6 credits.

$4200 (airfare and personal spending not included)

Course Description

Econometrics - ECON 360
This course examines the statistical techniques used to analyze economic data, estimate casual effects, make predictions, and test economic theory. Students learn empirical skills used in analytical consulting, financial modeling, economic research, and by analysts in the private and public sectors in Argentina. Emphasis is placed on estimating a single equation (e.g., demand function) and the problems associated with such estimation.
