Location: Madrid, Spain

Eligibility: The program is open to undergraduate students with a 2.5 GPA who have successfully completed STAT 225, 311, 416 or 516.

Course Credits: MGMT 361 Operations Management and MGMT 360 Elective for 6 credits.

Estimated Cost: TBD (airfare and personal spending not included)

Housing: Students will stay in shared student apartments or residence housing in Madrid.

Course Descriptions

Operations Management - MGMT 361

This course provides an understanding of the issues involved in designing and managing manufacturing and service systems. Topics include manufacturing strategy, quality management, inventory systems, aggregate planning, just-in-time manufacturing, and operations scheduling. Case studies, on site visits in Rome, and articles integrate these topics and highlight managerial implications.

Elective/Cultural Competency - MGMT 390
