Krannert Minors

Minor in Management

If you are a non-Krannert student, or an economics major, you may choose to minor in Management. This requires you to successfully complete 18 credit hours from the Management minor plan of study. You would graduate with your bachelor's degree in your chosen major with a minor in management.

Minor in Business Economics

Our Business Economics minor, which is open to all Purdue students, requires Managerial Economics (ECON 30100) followed by two upper-division elective courses. However, at least one of the upper-division electives must come from a short list of business-focused courses. NOTE: Students may earn either the Economics Minor or the Business Economics Minor, but not both.

Minor in Economics

All Purdue students may choose to minor in Economics. This requires you to successfully complete 15 credit hours from the Economics minor plan of study. You would graduate with your bachelor's degree in your chosen major with a minor in management. NOTE: Students may earn either the Economics Minor or the Business Economics Minor, but not both.

Accounting Minor

All Purdue students may choose to minor in Accounting. The Accounting Minor requires you to successfully complete 15 credit hours from the Accounting Minor plan of study. You would graduate with your bachelor's degree in your chosen major with a minor in Accounting.

Human Resource Management (HRMM) Minor

All Purdue students may choose to minor in Human Resources Management (HRM). The HRM Minor requires you to successfully complete 15 credit hours from the HRM Minor plan of study. You would graduate with your bachelor's degree in your chosen major with a minor in HRM.

Mathematical Economics Minor

All Purdue students may choose to minor in Mathematical Economics. The one exception is that students cannot major in Economics and minor in Mathematical Economics. The Mathematical Economics Minor requires you to successfully complete 15 credit hours from the Mathematical Economics Minor plan of study. You would graduate with your bachelor's degree in your chosen major with a minor in Mathematical Economics.

Krannert students are frequently interested in Purdue’s Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Recognized with a national award for innovative curriculum, this program teaches you what it takes to launch a startup.
