As a Product Manager at LinkedIn, Karan lead a stellar team of designers and engineers to bring products to market for LinkedIn’s 350M+ members. Specifically, he was responsible for products and features that enable LinkedIn members to create and edit their LinkedIn Profile on desktop, phone, and tablet.
Prior to product management, Karan was part of LinkedIn's Business Operations team focused on developing and executing online monetization strategies for LinkedIn Premium Subscriptions ($600M+ self-serve SaaS business). Before LinkedIn, Karan was at McKinsey & Company, where he worked on several strategic engagements with Fortune 200 clients and major government agencies.
Outside of work, Karan serves as the CTO of Global Impact Collective (GIC), a registered nonprofit organization that he co-founded with five other Purdue alumni in 2011. Karan graduated from Purdue University in 2011 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Management (dual degree) with high distinction.
In his spare time, Karan enjoys traveling, following the English Premiere League (go Arsenal!), and exploring San Francisco’s hiking trails.
